The mission of the Safety-Net Association of Pennsylvania is to ensure the continued viability of Pennsylvania's safety-net hospitals by:
- educating Pennsylvanians about the role, status, and future of safety-net hospitals in the commonwealth;
- promoting progress in health care policy by developing creative initiatives based on research and analysis;
- building consensus with others who are concerned about access to health care for low-income Pennsylvanians in support of the safety net; and
- advocating vigorously for policies that support safety-net institutions in delivering services to all Pennsylvanians.
